Just finished watching the httyd live action in the theater. I can save you all the trouble (and disappointment) and say don’t go. If you’ve seen the animated version, you’ve basically seen the live action. There’s literally NOTHING different or improved and the acting is subpar at best. Stick to the animated one, you’ll be better off for it.

@TheBookWorm2629 yeah, I’m in the same boat. Animated= best. Luckily I planned a double feature so it made it worth my while, but I was actually BORED during the la and couldn’t wait for it to be over.

hi!! i just wanted to say that reminiscence is probably my favourite book ive ever read on here and it was so beautifully written! i really admire your style and the love and work you put into the story and especially Nelly’s arc. i was also wondering (though you certainly do not have to disclose this) if the sequel/ companion fic will be out any time soon and what it might entail! i hope you are well and thank you for creating such a wonderful story.

@Pink_Beastie hi! I’m so glad you liked my book <3 I do still plan on writing the sequel, but it won’t be out anytime soon, unfortunately. I have a lot of projects I’m more interested in at the moment so it’ll definitely be a few years at least. BUT when it does come out, it’ll be all the letters Edmund sent to Nelly that she found in the trunk in the attic!

OKAY so I know I always complain about how Stranger Things is overhyped (true), but we got the release date yesterday and that doesn't stop me from being excited about it!! I AM pissed at the long wait times in between (what are they trying to do, copy The Hobbit where they made one book into three movies?) BUT I can't wait to write for SOMETHING WICKED again!! (I've got some *big* plans that I hope fit into what canon has to offer- though I may have to bend it if Max dies. I can ASSURE you she's not dying in my book.)
I've also been entertaining the idea of writing some prehistory for Jessie + the gang (like how she initially got involved with El and Will's disappearance) as flashbacks, so I'll probably include some. I just didn't want to write the entire season without Max in it when I first started the book, which is why I skipped it initially. Only 178 days left!

@Mobilisationlawyay Like I always say, ST is overhyped (it definitely gets better in later seasons) BUT I love Sadie Sink/Max so it's worth it <3 (She's super pretty.)

@coremakii AHHH IM SO SORRY lol, I was going to completely base it off your Dany but then I realized Eydis just had some very close similarities to your oc!Daenerys so I thought it would be okay to give you credit for those little bits (aka she does clay sculpting which was inspired by Dany's wooden sculpting, she also makes wooden instruments, and isn't very fond of physical touch with strangers and is ADHD but not AuDHD—but now I realize those are actually everything I do irl lol) other than those little factors and maybe the Targaryen origin and sass, Eydis is completely different from Daenerys in terms of personality, hobbies and plot line. Even her relation with Drogon is gonna be a little more inclined to siblings than mother and son. Ignoring how I just gave you a whole character analysis of a story barely even started, I hope you don't mind. I got waaaay too excited and couldn't wait! Thank you for the go ahead tho!!!

@Calynne_cho hey! I'm guessing you're asking about LEATHER & LACE. I'm excited about the next chapter, too! I just have a lot going on in my life rn that doesn't leave much time for writing and I'm prioritizing my HTTYD fanfic when I do have time. Hopefully soon, though! *Maybe* sometime in June if we're lucky.

The Evergreen book was a nice story to read and after seeing the latest update was from 2023 really surprised me. The mixed signals from Bucky really broke me and I hope he will find a way to get his act together and tell his undying love for Rosie not to mention that Rosie bad luck during her birthday is so sad to read and I hope she will find a day where will enjoy the day she was born undisturbed. Will you continue writing Evergreen or is still on hold I'm very curious.

@S0ft0n3 Hi! Thank you SO much for your comment. EVERGREEN doesn't have a big audience so this really made my day! (I always forget that the message board exists though so I forgot to reply until now- sorry!) I will definitely continue writing it; I just had a bit of writer's block at the point where I stopped then got interested in other projects. I hope to pick up my mcu adaptation either late next year or early 2027!

I’ve been in a ST mood for a hot second for some reason and I’m super impatient to write s5 of SOMETHING WICKED, but to tide me over I kind of got an idea to write a side b for s4 where Jessie goes to ca with Mike (mostly to visit Will.) Even though she wouldn’t be able to afford the plane ticket (maybe Steve buys it for her) it would be funny since 90% of it would be “I hate you”/“I hate you more” but I would have Will talk to Jessie about coming out (which is something that I’m going to make happen in s5 regardless.)
I probably won’t actually do it since there’s already a lot of writing projects that I want to work on, but I just think it’s an entertaining idea (and also devastating since she wouldn’t be there for Max’s “final” hours.)

So I obviously make playlists in my books for the vibes, but I also use them for my own purposes when I write (which I'm sure most writers do.) I've never really felt strongly about them either way except for the aesthetics, but tonight— TONIGHT, the vibes were ✧immaculate.✧ Literally every single song that played was an EXACT reflection of what I was writing. That's never happened before and let me tell you that the wait I made you guys have for the next chapter of LEATHER & LACE is going to be SO worth it!! I *actually* squealed with how on point it was (and I am by no means easily moved with emotion, so that's saying a lot.) Anyway, I've been excited about this chapter for over four months and I can't wait to share it with you guys tomorrow ♡
