I hope people know that when they start talking to me and i just say no, turning up my music, it’s not to be mean. It’s because i’m overstimulated. And I can go from happily talking to everything is too much’ in seconds. My sisters seem to understand that when they say my name and i just say no, it means don’t talk to or touch me. They immediately look away and tell someone else. I love that, i just wish i didn’t have to vocalize that I can’t take it right now. I have many signs that i’m overstimulated, they just only pick up on it when i say no. My mom calls me a jerk when i say it. She doesn’t understand that i’m not being mean (on purpose at least) i’m just trying to be alone.
