I'll be posting my new book, Escaping Fantasy, soon, so here's an excerpt from the book, which is actually the first part of Chapter One:

A large, round thing hit me in the face.

          Hard.

I stumbled down and landed on my back with my glasses flying to who knows where. I groaned and sat up, ignoring the sounds of satisfaction from my classmates when they saw me hurt and embarrassed in front of everybody. My vision was blurry, but I could make out shapes laughing and pointing at me, as though I am their favorite form of entertainment.

I crawled at the ground pathetically, searching for my spectacles. At last, I felt it and smacked it in the middle of my face. The right lens was broken, but the left one was perfectly fine. I stood up and grabbed the ball that had caused the large, purple mark forming in my cheek.

I threw it to the one who hit me with that brown, leather ball.

“Nice aim, Lovatt. But make sure not to make a mark next time, people will suspect something is going on between us”, I said in a very casual and mocking tone, but my face gave him a very pathetic smile.

He grinned sadistically and threw the ball at my crotch, but I swerved to the right and hit the stomach of the guy behind me. His eyes glared at me, hard, harder than the ball hit.

I gulped and did the most cowardly thing anyone could do.

          I ran.

          ---------

This is for you guys to help if you want to read the book or not. If you're interested at least one bit, wait for the following days for the posting of the book.

          Thanks a lot,
          TwilightSuxForevah
