Missing Zora real bad. ASA chapter coming soon…

(Mini rant) I saw something on tiktok about fanfic writers taking too long to update and/or not writing long things… and while I think yall here are very understanding [and if you’re not… oh well!] but it just made me laugh because… no way people are serious???
          
          In my case, I’m a full time student in COLLEGEEEE! I dance, volunteer, and have other campus responsibilities in between. Some/MOST of my stuff takes like a year+ to finish because life be life-ing. 
          
          Once again, this isn’t directed at yall! I love yall over here!!
          
          But I don’t think fanfic consumers are aware that it takes longer than an hour to piece together and edit a chapter. And we’re doing this for THE FREE! FREEEEEEEE! No dinero. L’argent. 
          
          On top of that, engagement is HUGE! Writers who don’t see engagement are not going to want to continue. You literally have no base to tell somebody to hurry up when you don’t even interact with their stuff! Let’s be so astronomically for real.
