            Bill stared at it for a few minutes before staring at Fiddleford. "Is- is this real-? Did you ever divorce? What the hell.." He muttered, going silent and starting at the certificate again.

            He handed him an old slightly crumpled marriage certificate which showed he’d married ford in college “pretty sure we were drunk cause neither of us remember this”

            He nodded eagerly “I think he’s gonna like it!”

            "Gonna show it off to Ford?" He asked and sat up, feeling a little better now that they had stuff to actually talk about.

            “I built me a thingamajig!” He answered cheerfully

            He started laughing as he held onto bill, smiling happily.

            He took it, looking curiously at it. “How do I get this thingy off?” He tapped the thing that holds the portal fluid

            He nodded and decided to just hand it over.

            “He be that old scientist guy that’s livin’ out in the woods.”

            "You're really not helping.." He muttered, laying his head down. "Nothing feels right. I don't want to hurt anyone but at the same time getting too close just feels- it's so stupid. How did I let all of this happen?"

            “Do what you feel is right” fiddleford told him

            "I lost who I was, twice." He explained, tapping his hand. "I don't know how to explain it. It's just.. crazy to me that I genuinly cared for everyone here. I mean- I see why, and I do. But.. it still feels like I'm constantly fighting opposite opinions."

            "You really think this can turn into something?" He asked, looking over at him. "Alright! We can start after breakfast."

            He looked them over, sitting down at the table across from him. “These look like they can work. I ain’t sure what they’re suppose to do but we can build them”
