Happy Monday, my dears readers.

I hope you are enjoying The Reluctant Viscountess. We're a little behind schedule (yesterday I was supposed to post chapter 12, but only put up chapter 8) This is mainly due to the fact that I came down with something and didn't have the strength to write and edit. Hopefully this week I'll catch up.

January I will be focusing only on one book, but as this series takes off I will find time to continue my other projects.

Also, I wanted to say a big thank you to @AkornDefalko, who has been so helpful with pointing out mistakes and inaccuracies. I do most of my writtng/editing at night when the kids have been put to bed, and even though I always make sure to read the chapter at least 2 times outloud somehow I always miss something so a big, big thank you for taking time to show the mistakes so I can go back and fix them. I really appreciate it.

Stay tuned to more updates and annoucements and have a great week.

Happy New Year to all my readers.
2024 was a tough one for me. Many good things happened but I was still left worn out, burnt out, and ready to collapse. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
This year I hope to grow as a writer, start posting regularly again, and publish traditionally. It's a lot to aspire for, especially being a mom with two little children, but where there is a will there is a way.

To start the year I'm beginning a new series called "Twelve Months of Regency Romance." The series as twelve books, one for every month of the year. It's perhaps the main reason I have been so unfaithful with other works on wattpad, as I was focusing on this series.

I'm posting the first chapter today, so be sure to check it out.

Once again, happy new year, I hope to be seeing a lot of you in the coming days and months!

Happy Monday my dear Readers.

I disappeared again, I'm so sorry. I've been trying to deal with serious burn out. This year has been really tough for me, it's like I've been running a marathon and now I'm crawling the last 100 meters, trying to make it to the finish line.

I promise next year I'll be more consistent.

Like I've stated earlier, I won't be doing any Christmas specials this year, I really don't have the strength. The goal is to finish Devout Deception and finish putting up Sarah Roses book I and II.

I'm also busy preparing a new series that will be available January next year. I'm really excited about it.

I hope you're all enjoying the Christmas season!

Happy Monday,my dear Readers.

We're well into November now. If you live in the USA you're probably getting ready for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile I'm already full of the Christmas Spirit. Sadly, this year I probably won't be doing any Christmas Specials as I really don't have the time. I've got to finish Devout Deception and get all of Roses of Blue up before December. I'm also working on an exciting new series that is set to be released January 1st, 2025. I'll talk more about it when December comes around.

I'm also busy with NaNoWriMo, this year it isn't as exciting as the past years, thanks to all the drama they've had there. I miss the forums. But I decided to participate because I have so many stories in my head that I need to get written down. Are any of you doing NaNoWriMo this year?

I hope you all have a good week and stay tuned for the updates. My daughter finally cut her 4th tooth, so now she's sleeping better and I can write in the evenings again.

Happy November, my dear readers!

Can you believe this year is about to end?

I've been silent for the past couple of weeks. I hit a road block in both my current novels and was trying to find a way around it. The good news is that I seem to have untangled all the knots for Devout Deception and will resume posting next weeks once I've made sure all the changes align with each other and make sense with the current chapters. For the Shore is still all tangled up, so I'm putting it on hold till December.

I have some big news concerning Sarah's Roses. For a long time now, I've wanted to do a rewrite of the story. I felt that the mystery of her grandfather's murder was too rushed and not well thought out (mostly due to the fact that I came up with the whole murder mystery half way through writing the second book). I also felt that some things weren't historically accurate enough, and there were several glaring plot holes and parts that just didn't make sense (not to mention all those spelling and grammar mistakes). Thus, I've been meticulously doing research and changing a few things. The core of the story will, of course, the same, I just want to weave the murder and the mystery behind it, into the first, and pace it all nicely. I've also added a few more characters for the sake of clarity and common sense.

Thus, I am taking the books down and putting them up again chapter by chapter. November is for Roses of Blue. December for Roses of White and January for Roses of Red. I'm still not sure how well these changes will sit, and I am open to your opinions and thoughts. Feedback from my readers is always so important to me.

Thank you all once again for your unending support. Your votes and comments inspire me to continue to write, even when I lack energy and time.

Hello, my dear Readers!

I have good news. Westbound has at last been published on the Galatea App. To purchase and read the novel, you can download the App Galatea and search for Westbound (It is the only book to pop up under that title. There is no way to miss it)

I was promised a direct link, but I'm still waiting for it.

I know it is frustrating to some that such a beloved book is no longer available for free and it was even a little hard for me to take it down, but I do also have to make a living somehow. There was a time when I could hardly afford to buy new books and for this reason I want to continue to post free content, but in order to do so, I must put some up for sale also.

I hope you enjoy the book and please tell your friends about it. If the book does well, I can start editing the second part. Love Travels West is just the first set of Love's Compass (Love Travels West, Love Journeys South, Love Goes East, and Love Heads North). Each set has five books. It is my dream to have all of them published one day for your enjoyment.

Congratulations!!! And I’m reading it now on the Galatea App.

Hello! Congratulation on getting your book published. I have already bought and finished reading Westbound on Galatea, and I LOVE it. I can hardly wait for the next book.

@WesternLove1212 Hi :) Thank you so so much. I am thrilled you enjoyed the book. I am working on editing the second book, when it will be published, of course, depends on how well the first book does. So spread the word, encourage people to buy it, and with good hope the the 2nd book in the series will come out as well. Thank you again for your support and for your praise. It means a lot to me.

Happy September everyone,
I've got lots of good news! I've finally sorted out all my techincal issues and now have the equipment to enable me to write comfortably. This means I will now be able to resume regular updates. At the moment I am publishing two novels here on wattpad.
The first is Devout Deception. It is set in Victorian England and follows Abigiail Havisham, a young woman suffering from amnesia, and David Righton, a man who claims they were sweethearts prior to the accident that erased her memories.
The second novel is my first real attempt at fantasy. For the Shore is a reimagining of The Little Mermaid and tells the story of Liana, a mermaid who gives up her life on the sea to try and find a boy she loved in her youth. But the boy she knew has grown into a man she can hardly recongnize. Not only that, but in finding him, Liana discovers his Kingdom is in distress and turmoil. Caught up in schemes and plots, Liana struggles to keep her heart, her head, and her life.
Finally my editor and I have completed the edits on Westbound and it is set to be e-published on September 25th.
I have a lot more projects and surprises for you so stay tuned.
Thanks again to everyone who supports me, I can't even begin to say how grateful I am.

Hello my dear readers,
I've been busy though much of it hasn't been on wattpad or inkitt. There has been a lot of editing to be done before Westbound comes out. My editor is very nice and helpful so I have a lot of hope for this novel.

I am busy writing new stories and, in trying to make them the very best they can be for all of you, I wanted to ask a question about chapter length. As far as you, the readers, are concerned what is a good length for chapters? What is too long that you lose interest and what is too short that you feel it wasn't enough?

          Thanks in advance

EleanorValenti

I love long chapters, and you are an excellent writer.

Hey! I prefer longer chapters because sometimes when they are too short I feel like the wait for the next chapter will be longer and the chapter was not enough and so when the chapter is on the longer side I feel like waiting for the next one is not as bad as I got enough and I can wait a little longer

In regards to chapter length on ebooks, I prefer longer chapters. Without doing actual letter count, I looked at some of your current stories on this site and most chapters are of a decent length. Short chapters, (half the size of your current story chapters) only ok if they actually move the story along and not just filler. Hope that helps.
