Kendra looked in the mirror plainly and sighed in frustration. Tonight was the night of her last prom, meaning she had to at least put on a show for everyone, especially her date, even if they were just friends. Clara and Kenny had been broken up for almost a year now, but of course still friendly with eachother. The two didn't really know how to be exes if she were to be honest. Despite this, Kendra didn't ask Clara to be her date to prom simply because of the fact that she knew Clara would say no. She had said no word to the Peruvian that day because she thought it would be more than awkward to. But as the night progressed and Kendra couldn't seem to get her makeup in check, the urge to call the girl became stronger. There was no telling what Clara was doing currently, but it was probably doing her makeup all flashy as she always had for things like this. Realizing this, Kendra whipped around and grabbed her phone off the bed and called her ex.

@trixare4ken “old friends can’t be replaced.” clara said with a shake of her head. she looked out of the window to see that it was snowing outside now. “/stan/ obviously does.” she added a moment later, murmuring.

@craigscrocs "They don't give a damn about me, you know that." Kendra replied quickly. "I wish they would but I know it's a little too late for that." The blonde continued. Ever since they were young, she had just been a pawn for their stupid ideas and dangerous behavior.

@trixare4ken “what? why??” clara asked, sitting up in surprise and looking at kendra expectantly. of course she herself saw things very differently— she had many opportunities open to her through her parents and even disregarding that, the furthest clara planned to go was denver for college. “what about your friends and stuff?”
