Well, everyone, it certainly has been a while, hasn't it? No, this isn't a ghost. I'm still alive, by some miracle.
I just wanted to announce that I am officially putting this account to rest. She's been fun and good to me, but I think it's time to move on. My writing, which I have continued since leaving and has hit a whopping 50k+ words, has grown and evolved so much. I'm not saying that I no longer wish to be associated with this account, but I want to start anew.
Wattpad has been my home for many years, although ao3 has become a close contender as of late. That's why I am unable to completely say goodbye to this app and the community within.
So, what does this mean? Well, my new account will obviously be different. I want to focus more on fiction as opposed to fanfiction. I also want to make a revamped version of Arranged. (I still can't believe that it actually kinda took off? Like what??) Anyways, I will keep the original premises for the novella (arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, the good stuff) but I want to spend more time on the characters. I feel like I butchered them a bit in the original, mostly because of time constraints, so I want to take some time to flesh out their characters. Considering this, the story will likely be more of a novel than a novella.
I will not be deleting the original story. I will add a note to each book that explains what I described above in depth. This will, of course, mean that my accounts will be inexorably linked. I'm fine with this. I'm not trying to hide my Wattpad past, I just want to start from scratch.
