Hi - loved seen you chain through A Very English Necromancer. I’ve been having a shitty time the last 24 hours so seeing that really cheered me up! Thanks :)

And sorry about the delay on the latest chapter - I’ve got a bit of work that I need to concentrate on first!

@CrispinOTooleBateman No problem! And thank you for making an amazing series. Also, don't worry about delays in writing, writer's block and other things can slow down even the best of writers. However it's not all bad as I feel that it helps as it allows the author to read over their book and realise anything they want to change.

@crazy_writer6973 It's not a stupid question at all! Walter meant it figuratively, so just an expression, not implying that she really needed to magic. But actually, in the first draft I wrote of the book, there's a scene shortly afterwards where she and Blaze get chased by illusions and she is able to channel Blaze's magic with the piece of chalk because of their Bonding Oath! The chapter ended up getting cut but that's why she got the chalk in the first place

@Bdicocco I enjoyed it very much, I do like the magic system, however, there is just one bit that annoyed me because I'm a bit stupid and I don't seem to find the part where Kayden uses the chalk because at one point, she was given a piece and when she said she didn't do magic they just said everyone needs to do a little bit of magic. Could you clarify if they meant it literally? (Sorry about the stupid question)
