“I know I told you I’d be out of your hair and we’d go our separate ways,” I trembled on the inside for making myself look weak in front of him, “But, but I need you now because I need to know that at least one person in my life- that was a part of my life, is still there for me.”
My shoulders sagged because of the weight from the travel bags in my hands and my hair was wet from the rain storm that was currently going on, I looked like a train wreck. “Gretchen. How the hell did this happen?”
