Okay rant time, and I think this is my first rant but whatever.
What the héll have humans come to? I mean what the fück is the matter with people? I'm sure you've all heard about what happened in Paris- well, everything that happened in Paris, and now there was a shooting in California that kïlled 14 mentally challenged people.
Does the world humanity no longer exist? I mean one of the definitions for humanity is humaneness and that means to show compassion, but humans no longer seem capable of that. I get that the world will never be a happy go-lucky place where everyone gets along, but at the end of the day were are all human, okay? Disabilities, race, sexuality, religion, none of those factors take away from anyone being human. Being able to speak doesn't make you human. Loving people of the opposite sex doesn't make you human. Not even being a good, genuine person makes you human. What makes you human is your genetic coding and science-y shït like that.
Who can even say they take pride in what humans have done? What we've done to the planet. What we've done to each other. The pain, the pollution, the suffering and the other terrible things we have created. Yes, I'll admit we've done some good, but at what cost? Does the scale of good and bad even out in our case?
The violence won't stop here, maybe tomorrow there'll be a shooting where I live or where you live. Maybe it'll be you friends, my family or anyone we know whose pictures is on a brick wall with candles and flowers below it and the words "Rest In Peace" scribbled beneath it.
The point is, we may never be able to make up for what we've done to each other and to our planet, but the least we can do is try. Think about the next generations, what we want to leave for them if we can even leave them anything at all, and think about the people who are grieving and suffering just because someone picked up a gun they think God put in their hands. (Not hating on religious people)
See you later babes <3
