Oh my goodness… I just checked when the last chapter of My Fair Lady was posted. I DIDN’T REALIZE ITS BEEN ONE YEAR!! September of 2025!??? HOW!? Time flew! I’m so sorry for keeping you all waiting so long! (The readers: *starving to death*) Let’s hope this chapter feeds you well, and the others after of course

          MY FAIR LADY IS GETTING AN UPDATE THIS WEEK!!! WOO! It’s about dang time! So buckle up and prepare for some Alcina and Mark!~
          And again, a big thank you to all of you patient readers who have been waiting in anticipation for an update. I hope it’s worth the wait! This story certainly isn’t over yet~ 

Hey amaris wanted to know if there's been any update on My Fair Lady....loved the story and had to go back on it, yet still waiting to see if mark and Lady Dimitrescu will make up since their fight? 

Hello to my lovely followers!
          I know it’s been some time since I’ve made a peep on here, but I just wanted to pop in and assure you, “My Fair Lady” has not been abandoned! I fully intend to complete this work as a lot of love, time, and plot has gone into it! 
          
          One thing I do want to share however is that “My Fair Lady” will eventually get a “rewrite”. I will not be altering the original posted version, nor am I abandoning that version. What I intend to do is once the original “My Fair Lady” has been completed, I will begin posting a fresh new version, (which I’ve been chipping away at here and there) complete with improved writing, additional scenes, a bit more of a horror aspect to it, as well as smoother plot points! Trust me when I say, I still have quite a lot of this story to tell~ 
          
          And perhaps while you patiently wait for updates, I’ll leave some sneak peeks of plot ahead to keep you all fed ❤️ 
          Old faces will return anew but in ways one couldn’t have expected; the Lords of the village will have a far greater hand in the story; and one more~ 
          Lady Dimitrescu WILL mutate at some point in the story and not simply for a brief “cameo”, no no~ You will get the dragoness in full~ 
          
          If there are any questions, theories, requests and more that you’d like to address, you can respond to this post and I’ll do my best to answer them! I truly appreciate each one of you for enjoying the story and I hope to release more chapters soon now that we’re in the new year!

To my lovely and patient “My Fair Lady” readers, this announcement is for you~

          Apologies for the lack of updates. Trust me; “My Fair Lady” has been chipped away at nearly every day since the last update and then some! For some of you who follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me post on my story a few weeks ago that I was going to update-… 
          And I was. Until I didn’t. 
          Allow me to explain~ 
          Chapter 55 has been-… a ride, to say the least. I must have changed the plot of it at LEAST four times and each time, I simply was not happy with the outcome. This story is special to me and I always want to prioritize the quality over posting for the heck of it. 
          Because I’ve been working on this story continuously throughout nearly FOUR years (pretty much around the time the game released) and posting for nearly three, my ideas have grown and developed, as well as my writing style. Because of this however, there come instances like this chapter where I struggle to unify the plot I’ve posted already with the plot I am aiming to achieve now! (Also, I totally plan to rewrite this entire story once I finish it in a gorgeous and revised edition WITH new content as well~)
          So believe it or not, but I’ve gone all the way back to square one for the chapter (however now with more ideas thanks to the power of brainstorming) and have decided for the sake of the story to stick to my original idea for the chapter with more clarity. (By the way, I’ve made an animatic for it and everything cause it’s so climatic! Haven’t posted it yet but I’ll let you know when I do~ *wink*)
          Just a preface that this next chapter may be a little rough, but I hope you will enjoy it nonetheless and I want to thank you all so much for your patience, kind words, and for enjoying my story as much as I have in writing and sharing it with you! 
          I truly hope to update very soon! Perhaps sooner than you think~

          As you know, “My Fair Lady” is first and foremost a romance story between Actor Mark and Lady Dimitrescu (which I will be updating very soon!)~ The “Plot A romance” so to speak. So how would you feel if “My Fair Lady” ~hypothetically~ had a very compelling “Plot B romance” sprinkled in as well? The side character romance. Because hypothetically, I may or may not have been planning one for the past few months now~ And it may involve a highly anticipated favorite character amongst most of you~ *wink*

          While I have been posting “My Fair Lady” here since 2022, I have had several more story ideas/AU’s for Actor Mark and Lady Dimitrescu in my drafts! I’ve purposefully only posted for “My Fair Lady” to keep myself motivated to only work on that story and not neglect it, but I was wondering if any of you are interested in me posting one of the new stories as well since “My Fair Lady” is still not quite close to the end~! 
          If that is something you are interested in, please let me know! I may also put out a poll in the future for the different AU’s/stories to see which is the one you all would like to see released most! Thank you and thanks for reading!

Good afternoon readers! 
          Thank you all for your patience for the upcoming “My Fair Lady” update, of which I have been working on since the last post! It’s taken me quite a while to write these upcoming chapters since they’re quite plot intensive and need to be written with care. 
          Since I haven’t updated in a while, I thought I’d open up a Q&A here for you all! Feel free to ask any questions you’d like about the story and even post your theories of what’s to come!

When will the next chapter be available I was feeling sympathy for Lady Dimitrescu cuz of wht she did to mark hopefully he’ll return and probably forgive her
