i’m probably going to be going on a hiatus from this site but before i potentially do that, i want to send a message and ask for y’all’s support.
          
          one of my best friend’s, lottie’s, father is enduring the brutal fight with cancer and because of how fucked the american healthcare system is, their family has had to set up a gofundme, so he doesn't have to work to pay for this treatment while receiving it. 
          
          this is a thing many american families have had to do in order to not go broke while themselves or a loved one is receiving treatment or actively dying. as a canadian who is privileged enough to receive life-saving medical care, please do not hesitate to engage with this gofundme in any way possible. whether it’s donating or sharing the link around, anything that can make this family’s story heard will help lottie’s father get the treatment he needs without the stress of having to think about how he is going to pay for it
