@1-800baelatargaryen Rhaenyra mentioned the name when telling Steffon Darklyn about his supposed Targaryen ancestry. Said she was a Princess and like his grandmother’s grandmother.

I had to do a deep dive for this one but keep in mind that these visions are all a manipulation of Alys and with Maelys just having died (prev daemons moms dragon that he road as a baby) his mom was probably at the front of his mind and Alys took advantage. My assumption anyway, there’s not mention of Alys doing things to daemon in the book but his mom died when he was young, no way he knew it was her til that last part.

@MollyMolesMay It was definitely a hallucination. Daemon’s mother died when he was three, so there’s no way anything like that ever happened.

@miss_congeniality18 No, it has to do with Daemon’s hallucinations at Harrenhal. Or, there’s a possibility it has to do with Aemond and Helaena, but I scrolled away before I could read too much into it. I really hope it’s the second option though.

@1-800baelatargaryen mine is their absolute disrespect to Daemon’s character. It’s not even so much his relationship with Rhaenyra, which I absolutely loath the direction they’ve taken, but it’s how they’re trying to make him out to be this completely horrible person. In the book, he was described as being someone of both light and dark, villain and hero in equal measure. In the show, they’re making it seem like he’s an abusive tyrant who cares about no one but himself. The exact traits they should be giving to Aegon, the literal r*pist, instead of turning him into sympathetic, cometic relief.

Thank you!!!! The book version on Blood and Cheese was more graphic tbh. Alicent that fucking hypocrite!!! I was so punch the air when her and Cole came on the screen. She gives me Cersei vibes
