Steve Dennison was born in Budapest.He took an active part in the uprising in Hungary, was wounded, captured and maltreated by the State Security Police. After the uprising was crushed and reprisals began he headed for England where he had jobs as door-to-to salesman, miner's labourer, then senior engineer and manager in electronics, and married a nice girl. The marriage ended seventeen years later and he accepted a job in Germany as consultant on space research and satellite development projects for NASA and ESA. He lives with his second wife in a town north of Lake Constance.
