a dramatic gasp could be heard from the ravenette as he placed a hand over his chest in feigned shock〝  i take offense to you even thinking i'd ever get tired of eating your pastries ＂ came his reply although his words didn't hold any weight to him actually being offended,  more so that he was trying to be amusing〝  if i said 'yes',  would that earn me a sweet for being honest﹖ ＂

〝  he'll surely be upset if it ends up badly affecting their health.  so maybe it might be best to tone it a little down on giving them sweets.  even though you love to spoil them ＂ came his reply with a quiet chuckle of his own〝  but i wouldn't mind being the one to eat them instead you know﹖ ＂

〝  i mean every word that i say deune ＂ he replied with confidence before comfortably burying his face against the vampire's neck〝  has there ever been a moment when i haven't looked at you﹖ ＂

〝  and that's all she'll be able to do.  only look ＂ marius' arms idly wrapped around deune's waist,  his head also resting upon the other's shoulder in the process〝  she may be paying attention to me,  but i only have my eyes on you ＂

〝  i was just thinking of grabbing something to snack on until we get back.  so i'd be fine with whatever we get . .  also because i can't really decide myself on what to eat- ＂ the last part of his response came out in a mutter at his own embarrassment,  but he still returned the gesture by gently swinging their intertwined hands〝  i was also maybe hoping that we can perhaps make something to eat together at home . . . but we don't have to if you don't want to-﹗ ＂

a smile could be seen on the hunter's face as he took ahold of deune's hand〝  great﹗  is there anything you want to get specifically﹖  i don't really mind what we eat ＂

〝  really now﹖  and here i thought you'd have more self-restraint ＂ a laugh also came from marius,  finding the other's joy to be contagious and he angled his head more in favor of placing a chaste kiss against the corner of the vampire's lips〝  look at that,  so you are ticklish deune ＂

"⠀ murmured the vampire against his cheek,  partly muffled yet understandable.  his fangs hang against the skin,  never sinking..  but nibbling lightly instead.⠀ "  i have..  a soft spot for you,  and you're just too irresistibly cute.  "⠀ he adds with a laugh once fingertips poke and tickle him,  making him recoil slightly.

another hum could be heard as he listened to deune speak,  the ravenette himself beginning to slightly nod off as his eyes briefly closed.  they later opened at the feeling of deune's soft bite against his cheek〝  hey,  what's with the biting all of a sudden﹖  thought you just said you can hold yourself back ＂ was his joking comment,  not seeming to mind the vampire's antics.  his fingers now moving in a tickling motion along deune's waist,  as if to get back at him for the playful bite

: it's.. alright. it is just unusual that i didn't sense you there before.     ( SHE IS TENSED,     slightly on guard around this individual.    are they a threat?   that smile puts them off,   but they still seem nice ... she hopes humoring them will be the right choice. )      .. interested?  in .. me?  why ...?
