When will u update avarice ....we are waiting for months now , how many more days it will take to update please reply to our question ... please don't mind author but I also think it is exhausting for us to wait so much.we had waited for bound like these but ultimately what ...we are waiting for avarice too.I think it's like same repeated circle u ignore us we reply because we like ur stories and got hooked to it and u suddenly on hiatus either update bound or avarice these is an earnest request

It’s honestly sad that we keep going through this cycle everytime. It's always the same talk and conversations repeated over and over again and honestly it's becoming draining for everyone involved. I understand that when we genuinely like a story we become so attached and emotionally invested in it.

But please let's be reasonable. The author explained multiple times that her writing process is slow and apologized for it, and said this is what she has to offer for now, we have the free choice to either take it or leave it. I honestly don't understand what other kind of transparency and honesty are expected other than that. Does she need to say it again and apologize for it every single time an update is late?

If we choose to stay it's because we trust the author and we accept the wait. It doesn't make any sense to stay and at the same time be angry about it. If she doesn't reply it's obvious that she's not ready and can't promise an update. And I believe we readers can be mature enough about it and give her some space for it, no? We're here to support whenever she's ready, but if she's not, then it's sad but we also can't force it either. It is what it is.

When we support, we do it out of love and appreciation for the work, not because someone is forcing us. But it's also an author's right to ask for support, it's their stories, their hard work, of course they can ask for all kind of support they want and need. We just need to be considerate of each other.

I truly cherish the work of the author and the community here. It’d be a shame to see it get dragged down by negativity. Nothing good will come out of it. Please guys, let’s do what we can to keep things positive and make this space as great as the content we’re all here for ❤️❤️❤️

@ebay13 Yeah, I mean this kind of scenario is common in Wattpad. And I feel like it's tough especially in her case with so many readers still waiting for Bound, and others hoping for more frequent avarice updates.

It is tough for readers and I can also imagine how challenging it must be for an author to handle readers’ frustrations while trying to stay motivated and inspired to write hoping for a positive response. And honestly I don’t think wattpad’s environment makes it any easier. But like you said, platforms like this require understanding and consideration from both sides always.

I personally think she's incredibly talented, and I’m loving Avarice just as much as I did Bound (maybe even more). Both stories have so much potential! You know, I read a lot of books in this genre, with similar tropes and vibes, and not to sound cheesy, but I honestly think hers just have this special something in them. And I think other readers can feel it too, and I truly believe that's what gets us so invested. Even with other authors doing similar stuff it's just not the same.

But yeah, I also wish the best for her and sincerely hope she finds the right path and a positive and patient environment that values her talent and keep her inspired and motivated enough to not stop writing❤️

@chizurulove I agree the community should be a positive place. It's okay for readers to be sad when the author mentioned an update and never gave us one but that doesn't mean it's fair to come on an author's page and say mean things.

I think that both sides are valid. Authors talking about updates and then going off grid for a while is frustrating but like you said it's not ever something to be negative or mean about publicly. But at the same time it's not fair to expect reader retention when there isn't a fairly consistent updating schedule.

I think a lot of people here are die hard fans of Bound and are scared that Avarice is going to be left unfinished/abandoned like Bound was. I honestly don't get the feeling that the author enjoys Wattpad all that much so I'm really hoping that she finds a platform she likes or decides to publish in a way that allows her to be paid. As someone who has written on Wattpad for a long time at some point it starts to feel like a job.

It's hard to build a fanbase without consistent updates but writing is also as you mentioned a slow process sometimes. Although I wouldn't really agree that there has always been transparency. I wish nothing but the best for this author because like everyone here I love her work but I get the feeling she's not super happy with Wattpad, and to make a book super popular, a certain amount of enthusiasm is needed.

I hope she takes all the time she needs, at the end of the day this is just an online platform and everyone has lives outside of it. It's never serious enough to be mean to other people out of frustration.

The people who are harassing Crimsondragin are sad. This is a free app and she is writing the story for free. If she feels like not continuing on with this story, that is her choice. Demanding a posting schedule is rude. If she wants to post once a year she can. If you want to stop reading you can. But coming on someone’s page demanding shit and basically bullying them to produce stuff when they are not ready or don’t want to is horrible. That makes ya crazy.
