benny " ben " roswell parker is the child of peter parker. he's currently a sophomore alongside his twin sister ruby may parker at midtown high school and excels in anything history related ( he and his sister are at the top of their classes ). benny doesn't really have many friends aside from ruby because other students are too scared to talk to him from how intimidating benny comes off as, but that's okay with him. socializing isn't his thing anyways.
the twins inherit some of peter's spider abilities, and in secret, both him and ruby partake in fighting smaller crimes around new york as " scarlet beetle " ( ruby ) and crimson spider ( benny ) without their parents knowledge. not that they like lying about it, but the two weren't found of not allowed to become heroes either. the only ones who truly know their identities are tony stark and bruce banner — who are the masterminds behind making their suits and encouraging the parker kids to fight crime.
