After 11 years… oh my god!! I thought my passion for writing had ended, because for the longest time I no longer felt the happiness that writing used to bring, and I just stopped. But then, something lit up in me again. I actually forgot about the stories I made, so I read them from the beginning….and fell in love with them all over again.
Not gonna lie, the first few (okay, a lot) of chapters are sooooo amateur, and for a moment I thought about erasing them and rewriting the whole book. But I decided against it. Those early chapters were me (my younger, former writer self) and the thought of preserving that version of me feels kind of beautiful. Even if those chapters are messy, chaotic, full of grammar errors… they’re still honest. They’re still me.
So here I am again, writing new stories, and finishing the one I started many years ago, even if no one’s going to read it anymore.
So… there you go. Hi again, Wattpad. I’m officially back.
