I saw two posts on tik tok today saying that avdol shouldnt have straight hair because thats whitewashing???
like, you do realize that there is black people out there with straight hair right???
In any case, saying that avdol should only have curly/knotty hair is stereotyping black people in a way

And I always thought Avdol did have curly hair bc of his little twists up top, bc usually straight hair can't really do that and create the 'thickness' to do so, bc if you see ppl w straight hair do dreads. It kinda looks messy, do to the volume in some of ppls curly hair being way different than ppl with straight hair. And I thought he just had a really long dread as his pony tail/he straightened that part of his hair or smt. Sorry if that came off as offensive in anyway, I sometimes can't tell if I'm being rude or not/gen
