@Local_CheeseStick Hiii! I would love to read your story when you post it!
Here are the methods and tools I use to stay organized:
—Character and world prep
Character Sheets: appearance, behavior, personality, anything you need for the character
Story Timeline: chronological map of major events and plot progression
Interaction Sheets: how characters relate to and impact one another
It's very time-consuming, but it's worth it at the end. It helps to make your characters stay in line
—Writing/Editing
Wavemaker/Google Docs: Software for organizing and drafting chapters. I've been trying it for a while. If not, Google Docs works wonders as well, I have everything there
Grammar Checkers: Any standard online tool to catch typos :")
Online Dictionary: Useful for finding synonyms, avoiding repetition, and checking meanings of words
Personally, I also get inspired by music, so having references like movies, music, other books, and comics always helps for writing blocks.
That reminds me, since my SBR book is basically the story, you always gotta have the manga next to, to make sense of dialogs and events.
—Visual Design
Since my story uses banners and graphics, I use:
Canva: For quick layouts and story graphics
Clip Studio: For illustrations and artwork
Honestly, the best approach is to just write it all out, reread it a bunch of times, and edit until you like how it sounds. Plus, getting a good handle on punctuation helps a lot
