Harry Potter Analysis!
Subject - Molly Weasley
There hasn't been much controversy surrounding this character. Such as the conflicting views people have faced about Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy, and other examples.
Overall, this character is adored by the community. She is the mother Harry never had. Feeds him, shelters him, waters him, and provides unconditional love and support for this heavily abused child and orphan.
However, while the reader is caught up in all the good she has done for him, our eyes skim over the fact that HER children not recieve ANYTHING close to the amount of support she provided Harry Potter.
Case 1. Notice how she bought things for Harry, something she could never do for her own children. Why we ask ourselves, did she spend her money on someone besides her 7 kids. Favoritism, she would take Harry Potter of Ronald Weasley any day, as she heavily infers.
Case 2. Yes, Harry can do no wrong. He brings Ronald into all of his schemes, but it's Ron who gets scolded, hit, and sent up to his room. Never Harry.
By helping an innocent child have a better life, she neglects her own. Something that if she avoided doing, would have given Ronald the confidence he needed. He is in a house with 7 children, thinking he was the least loved.
