I never read your story, I don't even know my opinion matters or not but what I think is - you are right, there are better people out there but that doesn't mean we all should stop writing. As a 'small' writer, I also think the same that my writing is not good but that doesn't make me give up. I will work on it until I am satisfied so should you. Wish you best of luck!
            
            And sorry for my 'not so good' speech. I know there are better people who can give better speech but still I am here ;)
