Snape was a kid who was tortured since the first moments of his existence... You can not became a healthy (psychologically) person with an alcoholic father who beats you and your mother all the time... Also, he was bullied at Hogwarts, by JAMES POTTER... You call Severus a bully, but you still love James... James took away from him Lily, the only thing he ever loved... And not only he cried like a baby when they died, but also took care of their son, was mindful of him and eventually SAVED HIM, SACRIFICING HIS OWN LIFE !!! but also.....
Snape was a bully. Just because he did one good thing, doesn’t excuse all the bad things he did. He was OBSESSED (yes obsessed not in love with) Lily, and used it as an acceptable reason to bully people. I don’t understand how people can say he’s a nice person, considering that Neville’s BOGGART was literally Severus Snape. He bullied all students, and made their lives miserable. He ignored James dead body and Harry’s crying and instead hugged Lily’s body. If that’s not creepy I don’t know what is. He viewed Lily as a belonging, and not as a person. He became a death eater of his own free will, and never once thought that was wrong. The only reason he was a spy was so Dumbledore would protect Lily.
