Question. Do you pay to get all your editing done? or do you go through beta readers. How do you tackle that? I'm currently getting professional editing done but it's expensive I wonder how other writers seem to get through this especially when they have so many works.
Wow, I keep forgetting to update my wall. It's been three months. How can time fly so quickly? Life update. I've had a few struggles with my health, but I'm feeling better now. Thank You Jesus. I'm nearly done with Shadowborn 2: Dark Heart. I've started the edits with Galatea's editorial team on Legends of Calais, just handed in my Act 1 edits for review. I feel like I handed in a paper for grading. It's a very nice experience thus far. I'm learning a lot about the structure of stories for platforms. And it's nice working with an actual structural editor. Started painting again after seven years. Just couldn't do it after my dad died. I also kind of forgot how to do it. I've never been good with acrylics, but that's what I got. My oil paints are long gone. Easter weekend has been kind of lonely. Hope you all are having a good Easter Weekend. The King has risen. Hello friends. Hope you are well. I just wanted to update you on what I'm doing. I've been laying out my tiers on Inkitt. Getting my books all on there. I've been working on a few things. I miss Wattpad. I miss you guys. But my books are still not safe here. For those of you who loved Shevamp, I am rewriting the series on InkItt on my Alexandra_Blackwell second channel. That is the pen name I've chosen and want to start using. The books on that channel are free to read. Right now, the Shevamp series has been renamed to Shadowborn, and I changed the names because my book was used without my permission. Shadowborn 1 - Sins of the Father (Victor's Sin) is complete. Rowan is now Aeryn. Had to change a few things. The book is completely rewritten. Shadowborn 2 - Dark Heart is my current WIP. We're at chapter 12 with releases on Monday and Friday.

@AliceFitzmauriceStan Hey. Sorry, I only saw this now. We've been struggling with electricity and Wi-Fi all December. When I do have both at the same time, I tend to be head-down, writing. Thank you for thinking of me. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New year.
Question. Do you think posting and uploading a story to Wattpad is worth it, if you want to be an author?
I mean there are so many other writing platforms out there, but.... I just don't click with them like I do on Wattpad.
Yet, when I look at the quality of stories, good stories are hard to come by on wattpad. But on other platforms, it's as if the Authors there.... Just take themselves, (WAY TOO SERIOUS) and I never know whether a story is written by a person or AI.
I need some help?
@stefaanz Hi. To be honest, I love this platform for the great people here. But money-wise, I do better on InkItt. I've never made a sent here. It's just a balm to my soul the way Wattpadders interact. Unfortunately, I also have to eat. And I've had problems with my stuff being used by other sites on here. This is a great place to get confidence, but to grow, we need to venture out a bit. With an InkItt subscription tier, your books belong to you, and you get 80 percent of the money. No troubles. No questions. But InkItt is a hard nut to crack. I made more on Inkitt in one month with 8 subscribers at two dollars than I did with 4 books on Amazon in 6 months.
I'm still trying to find a solution for the mirror site problem. The moment I reload a chapter, it shows up on the mirror site. I miss you guys. My books are still available on the Ink**t. Some are for free. Most are behind paywalls for this very reason. I have a few good friends who followed me there. A few of them even support me. I will be sad if I can't bring my books back here.
Hey guys, my books were all copied onto a mirror site. I found unpublishing them removed the link. If I were you, I would go check out Teenfic.net and see if your books are there.
@stefaanz Yes, and nobody officially owns it. We warn people if we find their stories on there, and we know them.
@ChrizelleTheart Yes, that is horrible. I love Wattpad. This has been a long road I've walked with this app. But this is the second time they've stolen my books from it.

@stefaanz I am so sorry to hear that, Stefaanz. When things become like that, it's hard to find your way back to the light. I hope you have someone you can talk to. Sorry for taking so long to answer you. I didn't see this. I believe you will find your way back into your stories. You are not nothing. Do not listen to that lie from the enemy. It is because you are precious that the dark one attacks your worth. But do not believe that. We are attacked in the place we are the strongest. Just hold on.
@csdreamer I'm a nothing. I can't write and can't fall back into a story like always. Depression is real guys.
