and halsey, that’s my bitch right there! the only celebrity that I genuinely respect right now! one of the first celebrities to speak up- even BEFORE the protests began!! who would’ve know 

this political climate is similar to the way it was in 2015 and 2016, but this time it feels like it’s not just the liberal left and younger generations that are fighting the unjustified killings of black people. everyone is finally waking up and everyone is angry, fed up and ready to tackle the crimes that these authorities have been getting away with for yearsss. and I’m here for it!!! f the police lmao

Three days ago I was feeling so hopeless about this whole situation. Three days later I’m glad to see the world finally waking up and seeing this for what it is: police brutality and a system built on racism allowing it. no more excuses. there’s nothing black people could do better. if they want to kill us they will; just like they’ve already been doing for generations. I hope this is a real turning point and I hope people keep this same anger and energy when the situation dies down cause there is a lot more to dismantle before we can actually see long term change.
