ABANDONING WATTPAD ACCOUNT
Five years ago, I started a Wattpad account along with my FFN.net and my AO3 account as not only a method to expand my readers but also to prevent fic theft. However, despite this plan, I consider myself to be very detached from the Wattpad community. Even 5 years later, I am not as familiar with the format because I only use Wattpad to post my works.
Furthermore, Wattpad is just not an effective platform for fanfiction. In contrast to other fanfic websites, Wattpad is intended for original works, and so its tagging system is extremely scattered. Since my works deal with side characters, it is quite difficult to be able to pick up a readership and to properly explain my works.
Thank you to everyone who has read my works. I will still be updating my ongoing fanfics, but otherwise all of my new works will be on my AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/users/cuckooclover
