There is one thing that I feel very disappointed when translating the story from Vietnamese to English. The story I am translating is "Stepfather", in this story in the original, Zhan refers to Yibo as "Dượng" - the way a stepfather addresses his wife's child, and calls Yibo "con" - the way father mother call to their children. This reduces the interaction to the story quite a bit, I think so.Vietnamese has a rich vocabulary of pronouns, but English is not so much. I sometimes have a hard time because many words or expressions in Vietnamese have but not have in English, and I have to use words that are close in meaning.
