— ACT THREE
               when rachael is brought back ,  the stewarts decide to continue fostering her.   it is a very awkward transition for rachael.  in search for herself and help she searches for kara.  once she finds kara the two reconnect almost immediately.  they are inseparable until kara is engaged and married to bucky.  however ,  after their separation the two are back to being attacked at the hip. in 2025 kara adopts rachael & they all love happily ever after. 

— ACT TWO 
               in 2018 rachael is 13 (né 2003).  she moved in with a foster family in queens.  the orphanage was in lousiana ,  so this was a major move for her.  her new foster parents,  abby & benet stewart,  were very kind and had deep pockets.  they bought her all new things and of the highest quality.  they even got rachael a speech therapist to work out her  ' speaking issue '.   the stewart's began fostering rachael with hopes of fostering her.  once in their care rachael was allowed to choose a new name.  she changed from catherine clement to rachael emily stewart. 
            
               the girl was not used to a city environment.  while she did thrive in the academic setting,  she struggled socially.  kids had already chosen their friends and clicks,  and no one wanted to welcome in the new  ' freak '. 
            
               rachael naturally liked to explore.  so at night she would sneak out her window and adventure through the night of queens.  it was her way of letting out her anxiety by walking and sketching what she saw.  one of these nights landed her in an ally way with a group of men.  the girl was terrified and frozen in fear.  luckily ,  there was a certain super soldier there to save her.   that was how kara and rachael met.  kara cooper  (@cursedwithrage)  walked her home and the two became close quickly.  rachael would even come visit kara,  spending most of the time at the cooper's residence instead of her own. 
            
            however ,  rachael was a part of the blip that takes out 50% of humanity.  she is brought back in 2023 ,  waking up in a room that no longer looked the same.  abby & benet had moved on ,  adopting a new little girl.  rachael was at a complete loss.

                 i - . .   thank you mom.   ( the girl stood from her desk and made her way over to kara.  she wrapped her arms around the other,  burying her head into kara. )    i love you.   i think i'll take that dinner now.  

rachael, you’re my daughter. it’s my job to take care of you and to help you. besides that, i *want* to. i never got a good education, so i want to make sure you and aspen both get one. and i’m not gonna take no for an answer.
