you’re full of it.  [she scoffs,  sending him a look of disbelief.  it was rare that misato was hit on,  she was aware how uninviting she was as a person.  the hardened look on her face was enough to scare off most.]   a prick?  really?  you couldn’t come up with a better excuse?

@cruelbones !          please,  you’re full of it.   [ trying to come off as nonchalant as possible but there was no hiding the way his jaw had clenched and he’d all but glared at the man trying to sweet talk her ]    he just seemed like a prick. 

[managing the harshest glare possible,  her eyes are trained on him only obscured by the dark tinted glasses she wore.  the anger that radiates from her poisons the air,  it’s a wonder why she hadn’t given yaga a piece of her mind for not telling her sooner.  but she knows she’s partially to blame,  a part of her always knew yet never questioned it for some what…?  hope she could be one of those people who can move on?  she feels ridiculous for it now.]  i’m sure it wasn’t,  you just happened to be standing there the whole time.  [she snaps sarcastically,  suguru was just the unlucky soul that happened to be there.]  how much did you hear?  [she questions him,  stepping closer to him and grabbing ahold of the fabric of his uniform.]  if you tell anyone what you heard,  i’ll fucking end you. 

@cruelbones !         [ it wasn’t his intention to listen in on misato’s conversation with gaga. making his way down the empty hallway, the flash of red hair in one of the classrooms with the door slightly ajar made him stop. before he could stop himself, he’d picked up on the end of the conversation before the door swung open and his teacher walked past him with a simple nod. he could only imagine how it looked like ]     i wasn’t—  sorry,  it really wasn’t my intention to listen

@curseuses,              it isn’t dramatic if i’m being honest and real with you.   the world would turn on it’s head if i grow old!      [    another sigh escapes,   leaning against getou as if he was now the only thing that supported him from falling to the floor completely.   but obviously that typical grin didn’t leave his face as his frame leans against his companions,    ]      always,   and don’t even speak of that..   (YUCK!)   just thinking about grey hairs on me sends a shiver down my spine.

@6THEYES !        you’re too overly dramatic for your own good.     [ a shake of his head though his grin remains. his shift from exaggerated sorrow back to his usual vivid self causes his shoulders to shake with a soft laugh. never a dull moment with gojo satoru ]    oh yeah.  i’m sure grey hairs will look real nice on you.     [ his eyes playfully roll at the title given to him ]     mm,  my hero.

@curseuses,               i can’t live with the wrinkles and creaky bones,   suguru!   it’s practically death already if that were to happen to great ol’ me..      [    shoulders slump,   seeming to be in a depressive moment before he is quick to content again,   grinning.   sparkles practically exuding from his r tie being,    ]      oh really?   well,   you’re definitely right about that!      [    gojo muses,   a satisfied hum leaving after the peck,    ]      how lucky you are,   indeed.   my prettiest damsel in distress!   (;

@6THEYES !       i wouldn’t exactly put it past you!  the question remains,  where you got that horrid cake. 

@curseuses,              of course it’s a joke,   suguru.   you don’t think that low of me,   do you?!

@curseuses,              [    he only nods in response,   once he here the door closes shut,   he could feel the excitement in his body drain past his body.    ]      ha..      [    a small,   but quiet sigh escapes as he could feel just the amount of dread that getou was feeling.   in some way,   it was as though the two were connected oddly enough.   his grin no longer there,   now drawn into a thin line as he looks out the window momentarily.    no,   he had to keep it up,   as long as it would ensure suguru would be okay.    ]       suguruuu,   don’t keep me waiting out here!   the day won’t last FOREVER!

@6THEYES !         that’s not what i meant.     [ he breathes out. if there was anyone he saw as a life draining sickness, it was him. which is why he stuck to the gloom of his room. but the hope lingering in those bright blue eyes is what made him stand up, if only to keep that piercing gaze from dampening ]     i’ll go get ready,  then.    [ an attempt is made at grinning, but it’s smaller than intended. still, he takes gojo’s hand and squeezes it gently before walking past him to the bathroom ] 

@curseuses,              you say that as if i’m the plague!      [    although it was a joke,   there was some hint of truth behind those words as he moves to look at the other.   blue irises,   almost piercing themselves through getou’s core as he closes his eyes,   flooding out everything else around them.    ]      happiest man i could ever be right now.   on cloud nine practically even!      [    fingers going to quietly fix the curse user’s disheveled hair,   tucking a loose strand behind getou’s ear.    ]

[ a part of him wants to take his turn at shaking her, to make her let go of the boy she’d known and still seemed to idealize in her mind. but instead, a shake of the head was what she got ]    that’s the thing,  isn’t it?   the one thing that made it impossible for you to follow me was absolutely necessary for me.  and maybe i knew that from that start..  maybe that’s why i didn’t come to you.  wouldn’t it have been far more cruel if i had, knowing where you stood? 

no,  no,  no,  you can’t say that because it meant everything to me and i would’ve never done this to you,  suguru.  not in a million fucking years.  [releasing a heavy exhale,  she lets go of him no matter how much she wants to cling to him for as long as possible]  why didn’t you just come to me?  i told you to come to me.  i would’ve killed them all for you if you asked,  but you did the one thing that makes it impossible for me to follow you. [and that she couldn’t wrap her head around]

@cruelbones !        [ though the outburst genuinely surprised him, he still allowed her to shake him and hit him and project all of her anger at him. it was a reaction he considered more than valid and perhaps necessary for her to eventually accept his absence in her life. ]      it meant everything to me.    [ and he meant it with every beat of his heart. even if she didn’t see nor believe it. there was no point in him lying ]     but i cannot align myself with a system that aims to protect those who are the very cause of the stain in our world.  how many more of our own have to die in vain?  

@cruelbones !         [ his thoughts aligned with the words she spoke, often finding himself questioning his own reality. when nightmares plagued his sleep, he’d awaken and expect to find kenjaku returned to his role as puppeteer of his body. but night after night, he would slowly reassure himself that all that remained of his tormentor was a memory ]     neither can i.  it’s..  difficult to accept at times.  this second chance—  i can’t wrap my head around it but,  i’m grateful. 

[releasing a soft series of chuckles,  a small smile tugs at the corners of her lips]  just a hunch.  [it’s almost strange at how good this is going,  like at any moment the cards will shift and things will go back to how they once were.  she tries her best not to think like that,  but it’s unavoidable at times.  leaning into his touch,  she closes her eyes for the moment.]   sometimes i can’t believe you’re here.

@cruelbones !        at least there’s a balance.  who knows how much worse he would be if you weren’t here.     [ he pulled her in closer to his side, the tips of his fingers grazing against the skin of her arm ]     now what makes you think that?     [ playful sarcasm to his words as he sends her a knowing look. leaning down a bit, he brushed his lips against her temple ] 

@cruelbones !     [ just a hum in responses as he navigated through the isles, picking up the sweets he knew were satoru’s favorites ]    do you want anything?  my treat.    [ one hand balancing the all the snack in its grasp as he approaches misato ]  

i have no idea.  he’s your boyfriend,  no?  [pushing the door open of the shop,  she holds it open for geto to walk through before their eyes trail over the items in the store.  misato didn’t have much of a sweet tooth herself,  more a fan of rich flavors such as dark chocolates.]

@cruelbones !    nope,  no problem at all.    [ though reciprocation could have been entertaining and interesting. he wondered what satoru would think about this whole conversation ]     what was it that he wanted?    [ asking as he entered the store after her ]

[ a cautious step is taken towards the inheritor of the six eyes. those same eyes he hoped would recognize him for who he truly was. that the infection that was kenjaku had finally been cleansed from his body and conscious. ]     i’m real,  satoru.    [ he said with all the tenderness that kenjaku could never truly master nor replicate. the love he felt that could not be so easily mimicked by someone who lacked any real comprehension of it. ]     please..  please believe me.

@curseuses,              [    his words would almost slow time around the two,   blue gaze fixated on the man who seemed to come back from the dead.   a frown soon forming on his lips,   feeling his muscles tense,   quietly flexing his fingers before remembering to even breathe finally.    ]      and what did i say to you,   suguru?      [    gojo inquires,   almost moving forward as he wanted nothing more than to be in getou’s embrace.   wishing that he could have felt the curse user’s hands brush against his cheek like before,   his eyes close,   attempting to mute the world around him.   everything seeming too loud for him.    ]       tell me you’re real.  

@6THEYES !       [ there were hundreds of things he could say, memories that only they shared from before everything changed. secrets they confided in one another that no one else could possibly know. but there was one that stood out to him ]      you said something to me before you killed me.      [ he repeated the words softly, followed by something that sounded like a chuckle ]     i held onto the words all these years.. 

@6THEYES !      it definitely was.    [ that should’ve been it for geto suguru. he should’ve died at satoru’s hands and stayed dead, without his body being used and later forcing him to come back ]     what else do you want me to say?  i’ve done the most i can to convince you it’s me..    [ or at least what was left of him. even he wasn’t too sure if what remained was worth believing ] 

@curseuses,              sparing you might have been a mistake,   yet again.      [    he would refer to leaving his body,   letting getou rest but in turn,   it only resulted into more pain somehow.    ]      i don’t..   know either,   even now i can’t tell if i can even believe you.   while my six eyes look at you,   and i see getou,   my heart..   i don’t know which part of me to believe again.

@6THEYES !      no thanks to you.    [ oddly enough, there was no harsh bitterness to his words, instead spoken delicately. it was how he handled his speech since coming back, with the utmost of care. one wrong move and he had no doubt it could be used against him ]     i don’t know how i managed to stay alive while kenjaku had control.  none of it makes sense.
