I’m revising chapter 26 rn and I swear I wrote in the self-aware Deja Vu book joke at the start of this month. I know it’s uncanny cause I was rambling about that today, but I swear, the subtle jab has been in chapter 26 way before today lol

I guess I’ve been reflecting on what I was doing wrong in the past with inconsistent updates because completing HC next year is such a milestone for me, like it’ll forever be my first completed book that has truly been a fun journey to write ❤️

@missweetmisery I don't anything hateful unless towards a character (coughs in Bobby's dad)

I’m not saying that my writing now is super great—it’s not, I still need areas of improvement and I’m still learning :)

          But I def prefer it over that horrendous word vomit, which is still present in TI chapter one and two cause it used to be a Taylor Swift fanfic I wrote when I was 14. Oh the fate of that book’s update was worse than Deja Vu—only three updates in the span of a year and a half. Then I discontinued it, only recently reviving it as an original story that now connects with MSM series

@missweetmisery WDYM IT'S NOT?!
            IT'S AMAZING

There was still a bit of word vomit in the first two chapters of Miss Sweet Misery but not as much, I ended up heading back to my casual tone roots with HC haha.

          At least when I use words like nonchalant and uncanny, I genuinely use them outside of writing, it’s natural and not forced, and me likely those words :3

@cxdevxmpiire I just love “uncanny” so much. I’ve also had a random fondness for “nonchalant” since I was seven, so that word obsession seems natural to me lol
