hello everyone! important notice.
i will leave for a (hopefully) short trip in a few hours, and i won't be able to bring my laptop with me. this means that most of my activity here will be suspended until i'm back, as my phone is too slow and small to deal with what i usually handle on my laptop.
for most written works, this simply means no updates at all, but what does it mean for sya3 specifically?
- i will still close applications for MALE slots on july 3 as originally stated. i will rearrange the teams as i see fit, all while trying to preserve as many of the original picks as possible! some changes are needed, though.
- i will read the new forms much more slowly than usual, and will send any formal review accordingly. google forms lags a lot on mobile, apologies...
- the next due date (and possibly deadline) for submissions is on july 25, as i will absolutely be back and active by then. ideally, i want to start posting profiles in august, so let's try to be punctual!
- i will still answer any and all questions on Discord or the form chapter itself. i'm not going offline, just not uploading anything on here for the time being ^^
this is all! i promise we'll get started at some point, and I won't drop this at all costs :-)

hi. so ive seen many of these survival show af things ive always wanted to yk apply or take part but i never understood whats it about. i mean ive read rules and stuff of many books but i never figured it out. would you mind helping me a bit
@-YEJIJELLY : generally it's things like "pick an audition song" or "distribute the lines of this song among the members"! i would suggest looking through some applyfics and see for yourself, things get explained a tiiiiiiny bit better and there are many where missions are handled on wattpad itself (opposed to discord as i do). try with the works in the #survivalshowaf tag !
@-YEJIJELLY : hi there! i'd love to help :-) i feel like you can only really understand how it works once you start applying to them (hoping the authors actually write them, that is...), but in short, these applyfics imitate shows like produce 101, girls/boys planet etc. and are meant to create a kpop oc group through a long-term selection process. each applyfic has its own system (hence i said you only really understand what it is about after you start applying to them), but the common elements are missions and votings! missions have specific tasks specified over time for the appliers to complete, be it solo or in team. once again, each applyfic has its own thing going on, even if there are a few common options. votings are for the readers (oftentimes being mostly the appliers themselves) to pick the most outstanding characters, and that determines the results of eliminations as well. by the end of the entire thing, these applyfics result in a much smaller group, and some authors even decide to continue their stories either on that book or a new one. hope this helped a little! feel free to ask more specific questions if needed
SEIYUU ACADEMY 3 NOTICE!
Please read in full. This will be better explained in the "WEEK ONE" update, but for now here it is!
1. I will rate forms within a few days from their submission, but I will send my full comment on the content only by the end of the week! With each weekly update, I will also update the form tracker (the part in the "APPLICATION" page where you can see how many forms have been submitted for each team), but you can count the inlines yourself before then.
For now, there seem to be no applications for the SPICY PEPPER Team, so I hope to see some soon! Feel free to DM me on Discord if you have some plans for them.
2. For those going for an idol OC, specifically members of a group: that section is less to evaluate the quality of your OC and more to build in-universe lore, so if you're struggling to come up with anything, I have options to offer! You can even make plans with your friends who are also applying.
3. I really appreciate that you trust me with OCs with heavy and complex backgrounds, but please, do not overboard! I don't have problems writing almost anything, but this is a music survival show with 36 contestants... we do Not have enough room to highlight everyone to those levels, and you might feel disappointed with their characterization.
There are many ways to make your OC complex without writing anything excessively dark, and I actually find them much more compelling given the context. It's also much easier on you! Trust me! Writing pages and pages of trauma is mind consuming and emotionally taxing. Do yourself a favor and know your limits ♡
