✦ ❝ you're still here in america , what a surprise that you've not packed up yet .. and that you're here in front of me again , what do you want me to give you a send off by handing your ass back to you again ? ❞
          { by his tone and smile he was only joking , there was no point for him to actually fight with sam and besides.. what good is it to beat a once dead man , yet the questions of why he was still walking his sorry ass through america and why he was in front of him once more would plague his mind . he wanted both answered but preferably the latter , he was sure that after returning the sword that he would not see him so quickly or at all even if he said he was sure they'd meet again .. just not this soon or suddenly , but whatever floats Sam's boat he supposed. he didn't mind it either , to see him again . } ⇉

✦ ❝ i don't need this anymore. your sword , so take it back.. your sword has fulfilled it's purpose to me and now that you're breathing again you may have it back . ❞
          {   holding the sheathed sword out infront of him , the cyborg wouldn't bother to look at the former desperado agent , there was no point in sentimentality here..  he was only returning the sword that saved his ass , he is thankful that wolf had thrown it to him when he did  .  and he is thankful that Sam had told wolf to do whatever he wished with it , if it was not for Sam then perhaps they would not be having this encounter .  }

✦ ❝ no , no of course i wouldn't pawn it off.. it is not mine to pawn off anyway and a dishonor to us both . ❞
            {     pawning off that sword of sam's would've been dishonorable and distasteful ,  the sword that got him his winning chance against senator armstrong pawned away after battle ?   he'd rather lay his life down  ,   he even took care of it .  truthfully he respected sam and to carry that sword was in his honor even after death ,  though that part is no longer..        he breaths once more ,  the man he cut down now standing infront of him again .    but there was no reason to fight anymore nor was there a reason for jack to hold his sword anymore ,  it deserved to go back to its rightful owner once more .    }
            ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎❝  of course i looked after it ,  it deserves to be well taken care of ..       i should say thanks ,  this'll be the only time i say it .    so thank you.   i don't think i need to explain what for , do i  ?  ❞
            ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎{   a strange feeling to say thanks to the very man he had cut down in the first place ,  it was almost embarrassing to say his thanks to the ex desperado agent ..  he wouldn't dare explain why , it was obvious anyway . } ⇉

                    ` and here i thought i'd find it one day, for sale in a pawn shop window, ` after some consideration, sam reached out to grasp the cold metal of the sword's saya. with his fingers wrapped around it, some unease settled in his chest, pooled like heavy weight— until now, it had been under the apparent vigilant safe keeping of the very man who had cut him down. his own vacillation amused him.
                    ` you looked after it? not bad, jack, ` he mused, after unsheathing two inches to inspect the condition of the blade. as always, the rufous metal of the murasama glinted back at him underneath the lustreless light. it was as if nothing had changed since his untimely quietus.
