My 2025 Punks rewrite is complete. I set that goal one year ago and began publishing on January 2.  The final chapter dropped before Thanksgiving. I published 6 books and 213 chapters in under 11 months, adding 81 chapters to the previous version.

Be warned. My Punk Universe is around 1.6 million words, mostly R-rated with a not insignificant number of erotic scenes, and my characters are headcases.

In the middle of all that punk work, I squeezed in my detective sequel back in April.

Back in late 2024, my Wattpad debut was Watching The Detectives, my first crime novel. I had three goals for that project: write a detective tale, create my first female protagonist, and write in a more concise, disciplined style - the opposite of punks. 

I now have three Kat Price books. Sunset '77 is the Wattpad sequel to WTD, and Sunset Private Eyes is book #3, a recently completed first draft. I'll drop that in 2026.

Before that, something completely different. Sacred Heart is my near-future vigilante crime-action drama with a significant body count. I wrote that for NaNoWriMo 2020. All my crime writing is done in the NaNo model. I knock out a full first draft in one month.  Sacred Heart is tricky because it's political, but I'm throwing it out there.

My vigilante is on deck for early 2026.
