Okay, so someone in the comments dropped an absolute nuke of an idea on me. They casually suggested, “Hey, wouldn't it be a fun concept to flip the POVs? Part 1 from Michael's perspective and Part 2 from Raya's?”
          	
          	Shoutout to @kellimalyn for that awesome idea btw. You unknowingly bombed my sanity with this idea of yours lol.
          	
          	My first thought was: Ooooh, like Midnight Sun, but make it 1980s time-travel trauma instead of sparkly vampires.
          	
          	I told them, very reasonably and professionally, that I would absolutely consider it... after I finished writing Part 3 of the main story. Because I am a responsible author who sticks to a schedule.
          	
          	Well, that was a massive lie.
          	
          	I literally could not get the idea out of my head. It took up permanent, rent-free residence in my brain. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't function normally, and I couldn't write my actual chapters because my inner monologue was just aggressively screaming: THAT IS SO GOOD I JUST HAVE TO TEST WRITE IT RIGHT NOW.
          	
          	So... here we are! I give you Chapter 2 of Forward, written entirely from Michael’s POV.
          	
          	I'm dropping this on Tumblr instead of making it an official Wattpad book because I have severe commitment issues and I refuse to lock myself into an entire new novel just yet. This is not an official launch; this is purely a product of my absolute creative unrest and complete lack of impulse control.

Just read the rewritten POV of chapter 2 and… IT WAS AMAZING!!! I love how you told us exactly what was racing through his mind while staring at Riley, I am loving Forward so so much and I can’t wait to get all the way through part 3 once it’s finished as well! But I truly enjoyed seeing part 1 from the POV of Michael! JOB WELL DONE AUTHOR

Girl, your story is completely insaneeee!
          
          English isn’t my first language, so it was kind of hard for me to read at times (it took me twice as long lol), but it was worth every second. It’s been years since I’ve read something this good, so congratulations! Keep writing, because you’re definitely on the right track ;))
          
          PS1: I’m loving it so much that I can’t stop reading, even though I’m in the middle of finals week.
          
          PS2: I would love to translate it into Portuguese because more people need to read your book. We have a huuuge fandom here that would absolutely crave this lol.
          
          PS3: Your book needs to become a movie. Seriously, I’m not kidding — the plot is INSANE.

Hey, I'm not sure if it was ur story where a girl, which I'm sure was Riley and michael were doing the karaoke in this place, and they were singing ain't no mountain high enough. Anyways, I'm currently watching the good doctor and I got to a part where two of the doctors were in the same described karaoke room while singing ain't no mountain high enough. I just wanted to write this cuz I immediately thought of it and I just HAD to say this, cuz it's kind of insane.
