Rest is actually more of a state of your faith in the LORD... Because you can sleep all day and end up waking up tired and you can also sleep for just 3 hours yet you feel refreshed.
          We can only embrace REST in faithfulness and obedience to God.

God is not only the best in times of good circumstances... in whatever circumstances I am in, good or bad, God is still the best. He is still the all-satisfying, beautiful, powerful, gracious and loving God! God is better than this life, so whatever it is, my lips will still praise You, Lord. You alone satisfy me!  #JESUS

I can say, God is good in spite of the circumstances I am in because my eyes are set on Christ. It is when we focus our eyes on the circumstances in life that we become doubtful but as a Christian, our focus is on Christ Jesus, our Lord & Saviour.

WAGE THE WAR!!!
          Don't just start it, continue to pursue to FIGHT for what is Yours in Christ Jesus. Life, as a believer, is a battle... I've been reading and meditating on the book of Joshua: Take your possession/portion/blessing to which Christ has already paid for on the cross and pursue to destroy the sin in you and preserve the things that pertains to faith that is in you. We are not wrestling with flesh and blood guys, 'but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).'
          Have faith in God, the fight isn't your but His!

In pursuing God's pleasure, that is living to give Him joy, we are actually pursuing our own pleasure. 
          The joy we often experience in the world aren't real as it fades when circumstances change to bad.
          True joy is not under the circumstances of life, it is a product of what we call 'faith' even if in the midst of suffering... one that is within us and not subject to anything but God... a fruit of the Spirit.
          
          The true joy we experience, i believe, is a reflection of our heavenly Father's joy in us and through us, as we live for the purpose He has given us. After all we are created through Him and for His pleasure alone.

Life is about seeing things in eternal perspective. You'll get to hold only on things that are relevant to life's eternal bliss and Jesus is the heart of it. What's your life's perspective?

'To give up' is not an option to Christians. It is a deception from the enemy, who eagerly awaits our defeat. REMEMBER Jesus has already won the battle for us. Do not be fooled by the father of all lies... he is the defeated one not you. The moment you believe in the enemy's lie it will be your defeat. Whenever satan comes to deceive you remind him of his future in the lake of fire and know that you have overcome the world through your faith in Christ Jesus and your future is in Him. Hold on to God and talk back to the devil using the Word of God that's the only way to shut him up. Speak the Word! #ToGodbetheglory
