Hey Guys, I just want you all to know how much your follows mean to me! I also want you to know a little bit of the reason why I'm writing My Affinity. My little brother is disabled and I have watched him overcome many of the challenges I have given my characters. I have watched him meet a cruel and unforgiving world with bravery and strength. I know how important it is to have strong role models to look up to. Especially ones with similar experiences to you. It makes me very sad that my little brother doesn't get to read books and see strong characters like him. Disabled people are just like everyone else. We all have challenges their's are simply more obvious and that demand more strength to overcome. I'm writing this story for my baby brother and everyone like him. So that they can see someone like them realistically represented in a fantasy book.
