I am looking for two Chinese novels 
          1. about a girl who is forced or not to marry a rich man. The thing I remember is telling her new husband she will take on lovers or cuckhold him or give him a or some green hats. The overbearing hubby tells her she won't have the time or energy to look elsewhere.
          2. About a girl blackbellied who transmigrated in ancient China, married a man as blackbellied as her. With yet medical skills she opened a beauty shop supposedly owned by a childe, invented refrigiration with potatoes, and cured her husband. I don't know what happened after the surgery, it was a long long novel I think more than 2000 chapters. And also the aunts are always trying to foister concubines in her monogamous marriage while she and her Wang terrified them away. The other thing is she builds a 2 storeys house. Where apart from the servants, no one could enter. 
          I saved the novels on a website, but before I could read the first book and finish the second one, the website closed down.
          If any of you came across these novels, could you please give me the titles?

When I decide to read a book in these online reads the first thing I check is the last update. And let's face it. Sometimes a project is abandoned or sometimes the author just died. What those young authors lack is a plan. Planning a story, the characters, the background, the plot, the drama, the outcome, tribulations and trial and conclusion. Several so far has been ramblings with no fixed road. A chapter should have at least 1500 words. And the sequence of the book should be continuous. 
          I have found the chapters to be fillers rather than a sequence. So the actors POV, should rather seperataded by: "***" rather than a new chapter filling much of the same. And a story does not need to be written with POV.  Read Jane Austen. And girls of this century should have more pride than the characters they are made to play for the sake of misguided romanticism after severe abuse. 
          Even a dog will bite you after so many kicks and hightail out for a better house. And they never go back, clever little things they are.

I don't understand the choice behind some of the girls' pictures posting as heroines. I don't think them ugly or beautiful, they just don't fit the heroine type. They types you might see in a catalogue of call girls. 
          When I think of innocent heroines I think of fragile beauty like Bella Swann, or exotic beauty like Shakira and late Whitney Houston .
