Starting another thread because it’s too much scrolling otherwise haha! Soooooo it’s 11pm here, I’m going to make a coffee because I want to start working on DL chapter 1, I think I want to start posting from April. 
          
          It is impossible for me to choose a favourite character mind you, because I love them all, but I do have a huge thing for Imaani, I won’t lie. There’s just something about her and then I think Elijah was wonderful to write, I do wish I could have added more depth. Nah, scrap that, I can’t choose. I love them all, I could find something good to say even about the bad guys. 
           #villainsarepeopletoo and to be entirely honest I think maybe even redeemable to some decree. 
          
          I suggested the songs for your stories by the way! Because I thought they’d suit yours too, because I too have a few on my own playlist, because they definitely feed into the theme. My advice to you, is don’t overthink too much, rather than spending ages and ages planning, you’ll pressurise yourself it’s not good enough and you’ll keep going back and forth. I recommend you just do it, go for it. Start writing and see where it takes you? 
          
          To be frank with you, I have never ever planned a story from the beginning. I’ve always had a gist of a plot, started it and then made it up along the way.

1. The MC's name, can be anything at all, I love all the suggestions, it's up to you, a name can be just a name or have its own significant meaning, or can just be because it's nice, and then of course you'll have your aliases, considering the situation. 
          
          2. You can always have face-claims for yourself and to present, because I do the same, but also make it evident that it's just a loose one, because then anybody else can use their own imagination and make their own choices.
          
          3. I like that you’re making her expressive, even if it’s negative emotions, I like it when characters have something to show on the surface. Definitely do a hot take on the both of them and how their traumas connect them too, so give each one their own backstory, and how that connection comes to be, between the two of them. And involvement of other BAU characters yes, because there’s more criminal elements to it, more thrill/action scenes. Make sure you also research into each thing you cover, whether that’s PTSD or Racism, because all these things are sensitive. 
          
          4. I recommend having trigger warnings, author’s notes, ways to connect and keep readers up to scratch with everything running through your mind during the process, so you can all be on the same page. I always love it when the MC is kind too in the sense that they empathise with others, like you said about her sympathising with unsays, who are women, that’s like her mutual interest. Maybe Spencer can also be the same.

          1. Your criminal minds fanfic - YES 100 TIMES YES. Because firstly someone with both Arab and Latin background together is amazing, I've seen/ met others with the same mix and it is so cool to see how two worlds collide. Anything where she's got a psych/social background in education works tbh, you could make it work. Popular loner ties in perfectly for her. You've already given her character such though, behaviour and appearance wise, she seems very interesting. I LOVE THE TROPES TOO.
