Moana wasn’t going to go to the festival, opting for a quiet movie marathon night at home or even hanging out with her friends at one of their houses while getting slushies at the gas station. But due to her curiosity and her friend’s convincing, she gave in. “Let’s see where the night takes us, you girls better hope it’s worth it,” she mutters to herself as her phone pings. “We’re outside,” the text reads. She puts her phone in her pocket as she quietly walks down the stairs, glancing at the sleeping dog before using her key to leave, making sure the door’s locked shut as quietly as possible.

The Festival- Oceanwood: A Heartbreak High Fanfic Oneshot.

It was a quiet night, minus the sound of her Mum snoring and settling down as she slept. The street also seemed to be asleep minus Moana. She was standing in front of her bedroom mirror, studying herself in the reflection while waiting for the message that her friends had arrived to pick her up. She’s wearing an outfit that’s a combination of her usual comfy, casual look and a party look that her friends helped pick out.

She’s wearing a black cropped t shirt with a longer shirt underneath, only showing an inch of her stomach. Along with a dark blue/black/purple straight legged pants and converse sneakers. Her hair’s out as usual except her curls have been styled to stand out, the frizz being removed with hair cream and mousse. She’s wearing euphoria-esque makeup, the sequins around her eyes shining bright like the moonlight outside.

Starting another thread because it’s too much scrolling otherwise haha! Soooooo it’s 11pm here, I’m going to make a coffee because I want to start working on DL chapter 1, I think I want to start posting from April.

It is impossible for me to choose a favourite character mind you, because I love them all, but I do have a huge thing for Imaani, I won’t lie. There’s just something about her and then I think Elijah was wonderful to write, I do wish I could have added more depth. Nah, scrap that, I can’t choose. I love them all, I could find something good to say even about the bad guys.
#villainsarepeopletoo and to be entirely honest I think maybe even redeemable to some decree.

I suggested the songs for your stories by the way! Because I thought they’d suit yours too, because I too have a few on my own playlist, because they definitely feed into the theme. My advice to you, is don’t overthink too much, rather than spending ages and ages planning, you’ll pressurise yourself it’s not good enough and you’ll keep going back and forth. I recommend you just do it, go for it. Start writing and see where it takes you?

To be frank with you, I have never ever planned a story from the beginning. I’ve always had a gist of a plot, started it and then made it up along the way.

@littleladywp also the woman and other women in the western story might be cabaret dancers if the story was set in New Orleans, Louisiana.

@littleladywp the TUA always has given me British vibes that I was genuinely surprised to find out it’s an American show set in America? I think this is due to the type of plot, characters and some of them being from the UK (such as Robert Sheehan being Irish) I think.
