i want to read Percy Jackson but i need to know if its worth it?? would u recommend it??

I was just at a family friend’s house for a holiday party, and me and three other girls (they’re all in high school, I was the only 8th grader TT) decided to watch a horror movie.
          
          -which was not my idea
          
          anyways, the movie was pg13 but there is NO FLIPPIN WAY- it should be rated pg20 or something, scared the absolute hell out of me. It was called “The Ring” or something
