Goodbye teenage years, hello roaring 20's *cries in adult*

To all my younger (and even older) readers, heres a bit of wisdom for you xx

I've realised a few things as a teenager, and since in a few weeks I'll be leaving my teenage years behind me to start a new age and chapter in my life (my roaring 20's) I want to share one if the most important lessons that ive learnt.

Ive come to know as a teenager that we're all imperfect and we all have imperfections. You could see someone on the street and envy them because they're everything you want to be, but the truth is, they have imperfections that they struggle with too.

Im definitely not my definition of perfect, but I shouldnt have to be anyones definition of perfect. And instead of trying to be someone everyone else wants me to be, if I embrace my imperfections, then maybe everyone else will do the same.

For no one should judge by your looks, but by your character. Its your character and your personality that's going to carry you through life.

And I wish while I was in high school, as a teenager struggling with her identity and body issues, that there was and adult that I looked up to that could tell me that.
