I’ve been so immersed in writing lately, lost in pages and paragraphs, that I nearly forgot there’s a whole world beyond my room! Between balancing books, words, and new story ideas, I spend most of my time in my own little sanctuary, tucked away and creating worlds with words.
It’s cozy, and I genuinely love the quiet, the familiarity of my desk, and my laptop humming with new chapters. But sometimes, there’s this little tug, reminding me of everything else I miss out there.
I miss laughing with friends, sharing inside jokes over coffee, being around family, and just feeling the warmth of their presence.
And nature — I really do miss that connection. When I think about the fresh mountain air, the rustling leaves, and the calm of forest trails, it feels like a whole other kind of inspiration.
while scrolling through reels filled with snowy mountains and green landscapes, it just hit me how much I miss it all — the crisp air, the vastness, the feeling of being grounded.
There’s so much beauty in being able to explore both worlds, and somehow, writing has given me the space to bring that nature into my words. But I do hope to get out there more often, to recharge in those places that inspire me just as much as storytelling does.
Thought I'd share a bit of my world with you, so I don’t stay a stranger! I love nature deeply, even if I also love getting lost in my own world of words.
