Do you need free proofreading for your book?

I'm currently studying French Literature, and am looking at getting into freelance proofreading. I'm happy to do this completely free of charge in order to build a little work experience - all I ask is that if you are happy with the result, you allow me to use you as a reference.

Equally, if you happen to need any French to English translation, I would be more than happy to do this for you on the same basis.
