i might have invented a new academic field?? i’m not entirely sure yet but it’s looking like i invented a specialization

so i’m in archaeology student and we have to do a project on field methods and i chose archaeobotany, which is the study of floral remains and how they can infer our understanding of subsistence (eating) patterns of past people. so i was like: i’ll concentrate on mushrooms/fungus and how they could allude to diseases present in local flora at a certain time. apparently, when i googled it, it doesn’t exist. so archaeomycology is now a thing
