I'm what you might call an OG, an Original Gangster, or an aging hippie.

I've been in the mental health field for 40 years, creating services for severely emotionally disturbed children and adults as well as for alcoholics and drug addicts.  I'm the director of an outpatient mental health program in the Los Angeles area, serving at-risk inner city youth.  Also have been a licensed therapist for over 30 years

I'm also a parent of five grown children and three grandchildren.  Three of my children grew up with mental health problems, which gives me a unique perspective on the needs of children with special needs, and the problems their parents face.

I live in Westminster, California with my wife and my Cockapoos, Bella Rose and Gracie.  My hobbies include painting landscapes, writing music, and writing poetry.  

My first short story is Battle on Monica Rd.  I'm completing Windspun Road, a novel on homegrown terrorism.
