To make it clear, the story "a matter of love or death" is inspired by real events but not at all based on them. However some of the characters are loosely based on real people I have come to know but the Characters of Dean, Alfie, Beth and Rebecca are completely fictional and any resemblance to persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and therefore unintentional.
