How easily people talk of love these days. It is, I believe, one of the most difficult things to understand in human emotions. Of course, everyone has their own version of the truth, but on a general level, I believe, love is impossible. Simply because life only has it’s value till there is death. And love makes people immortal.
Let me ask you a question. Have you ever felt immortal? I bet not. Everything we do, there’s a fear somewhere deep down about an end to it. But when you love someone truly, and passionately, just for that one little moment in time, you lose all your fear of death. Just for that one bit of your life, when you’re making love to someone who you genuinely respect and adore, you lose your fears of death and dignity, and you are immortal. And immortality loses it’s respect and value for life. Who then, can ever be in love and still lead a great life. It is certain, that a man truly in love will lose respect and value for his own life, as he has given it up for his beloved. It is certain he is going to lose everything, if he hasn’t already, but still keep going because in his own eyes, he is immortal and has no fears, and will never stop until he’s wise or dead. Love breaks everyone, and in the end, some people are strong in broken places. Those who will not break, it kills. It kills the very good, and the very brave, and the very gentle, impartially. And if you’re none of these, be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
A girl will always either lose everything being in love, or die being a lonely sad person. If two people love each other, there can be no happy end to it. All stories, if continued far enough, have a bad ending. The point of a good story teller is to end the story with the most suitable one.
