I honestly don’t see it as cringe at all because fanfiction is just another medium like books, movies, TV shows, video games, etc. I don’t see any harm in enjoying fanfics as an adult. And thank you so much!! <333 Just wait till they find out that their favorite shows, books, games, and movies are written by *gasp* aDuLTs!!

Why do people keep labeling Akutagawa as emo??? Like, he’s obviously goth, both in terms of fashion sense and personality. His music taste would also definitely lean more towards goth (post-punk) and death rock, not emo. I swear this is coming from people who can’t tell the difference between goth and emo.

@GothQueenKarai sure! So emo and goth are both music-based subcultures, that’s where the roots are. If you listen to the lyrics, instrumentals, and themes of the music, they are very different. But there are also stylistic differences relating to fashion. Emos wear more color and have a more vibrant style, whereas goth is darker. The aesthetics, vibes, and pop culture associated with each is different as well. Random Goth Couple on YouTube has a good video explaining the differences more in-depth.

Almost finished with chapter 11, but updates may be slower. I’m going to makeup school to become a freelance MUA (now that I finally got my bachelors degree and am no longer pressured by family to go to college). I have I feeling I won’t be as burnt out as I was in college, so the next chapter shouldn’t be too much longer.
