Hello my name is Mariah
I love to read, I assume most people on here do. If I could I would read all the time, all through the night. however life gets in the way. Not that i've got anything against life, I mean it's what we do everyday. So when you get older in this quest of life things are expected of you. You have to go to college, know what you want to do, graduate and then do it. I'm an English Major, freshman, possibly going for a single subject teaching degree. Is that what I want to do? I'm not sure, but when people ask me what I want to do, I say I want to be a writer. Yes the majority of authors don't publish things all the time, don't make as much money and it's not a stable job. However the idea of my words touching someone else in a profound way, making them think of things they haven't before, my words becoming someone's favorite quote; that makes me so happy. So whatever I end up doing one of my life goals is to publish a Book. I told myself Mariah your'e 19 already you really should get started. The problem isn't the ideas because tons of those pop in my head all the time. It's arranging those ideas and then taking the time to put it all into a book. So I'm sorry if you like something I write and it stays unchanged for months. I am one of the laziest people in normal time and one of the most motivated in random wee hours of the morning. It's just the way it works. Thanks for taking the time to actually read this, and if you read anything I put on here I really do thank you. :)
