There’s some really heavy things going on in my city right now. I’m scared, I’m anxious, I’m angry. Every single day. I’m doing what I can but it still doesn’t feel like enough. Needless to say, my mind is everywhere other than my fics at this time so updates (once again, sorry) are likely going to be on pause for a little while. 
          
          I have more emotions than words right now, but in parting: RIP Renee Good. RIP Alex Pretti. And F*CK ICE.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! 
          
          1. You have the right to remain silent. You can refuse to answer questions until an attorney is present. Similarly, you can refuse to sign any paperwork until an attorney is present.
          2. You have the right to an attorney and an interpreter.
          3. You have the right to refuse entry. Immigration/law enforcement cannot enter a private residence without a signed judicial warrant. Do not open the door until one is presented to you. If they ask you to open the door so they can present it to you, inform them that they can either show the warrant through a window or slide it under the door.
          4. You have the right to record immigration officers and are encouraged to do so if you can do such safely. ICE is not above lying and not all officers wear body-worn cameras. 
          
          The same rights are applicable for observers. If you witness ICE activity try to remember the following acronym: SALUTE.
          
          S - Size/strength (How many officers are?)
          A - Action (What are they doing?)
          L - Location (What is the precise area of the incident?)
          U - Uniform (What are the officers wearing?)
          T - Time (What is the precise time of the incident?)
          E - Equipment (What items are they using? What vehicles are they driving?)

So I know the 1 million bonus chapter of 001 left off on a cliffhanger to be picked up when it reached 2 million reads and it’s now reached 2 million but I’m gonna wait to post the 2 million bonus chapter until after season 5 wraps up because I think the ending will be relevant to how I write it (and because I’m lazy/unmotivated/have other stuff going on in my life right now lol). 
          
          From there, that’s probably going to be the last bonus chapter I write for 001 and 002. I know 002 is still due a 100K bonus chapter and while I love the series, my focus is on Ballroom Blitz and I just don’t have the same motivation for the Snikwah series since it is finished. One day that might change but that’s my thought process for now.
